Welcome to the new Web site for the Jolly Sailor pub, the oldest pub in Porthcawl, and also the one with the most interesting history! I doubt that any other pub can claim and prove a story to match the story behind the Jolly Sailor. For more info, please go to the smugglers page.

To see more info about the town in general, go to the Porthcawl section. Upcoming gigs and other events at the Jolly Sailor can be found in the events section. If you have attended an event, and then look at the photos section for a reminder, you may even see a photo of yourself!

Many different clubs use the pub to hold their meetings, the clubs section will give some background info about this.
